Erler Zimmer simulation training plate for implantable port in detail
The simulator consists of a soft layer that represents the skin and a hard plate that protects you from possible injury if performed incorrectly. The implanted port and blood bag are not included, but can be ordered separately if required.
The model is attached to the neck and around the chest using adjustable straps. This allows you to practise all necessary procedures on an implanted port. Having a person wear the model makes the exercise more realistic, as you can communicate with the "patient" and also feel their movements and breathing.
