The Baby C.H.A.R.L.I.E. Simulator was developed to meet the training needs of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Neonate Resuscitation Program, 7th Edition. It offers comprehensive training opportunities in the areas of airway, ventilation, intubation, oxygenation and resuscitation. In addition, the simulator enables training in birth anomalies, thoracic drainage, intraosseous infusion, gastric tube and bladder catheterisation. The simulator has interchangeable genitalia, a patented umbilical cord with venous and arterial access, as well as a PICC catheter access in the arm. It also provides the ability to perform assessment and measurement and palpable manual pulse points in 7 locations. The simulator comes complete with all necessary accessories and an English language instruction manual.
Interactive ECG Simulator:
This simulator offers the ability to deliver a defibrillation shock either via the manikin or the simulator. You can connect the defibrillator / external pacer to the simulator via an adapter. The inbuilt circuit allows you to defibrillate directly into the simulator and monitor the ECG rhythms via the PADS connection. You can select a rhythm to be played back immediately after defibrillation. Pacing can be carried out using defibrillators from all manufacturers. The battery saving function switches the simulator off automatically when it is not in use. The simulator offers 6 ECG curves and 17 adult / paediatric rhythms.
