Intrafix® Air P 150 cm in detail
Infusion device with ventilation for pressure and gravity infusions - the Intrafix® Air P is a high-quality and practical infusion device that is suitable for both pressure and gravity infusions.
The infusion device has a sharp piercing spike that also makes it easier to pierce hanging containers. This enables the infusion solution container to be emptied without leaving any residue.
The ventilation of the device is bacteria-proof and can be closed with a Euro flap. This is marked in the colour green. A handy drip chamber design with a highly transparent sight glass ensures good visibility of the infusion flow.
The upper part of the drip chamber is ideal for attaching an infusion pump drip sensor. A free-standing, elongated dropper ensures uniform drop formation. Here, 20 drops correspond to approximately 1 ml, with an accuracy of ± 0.1 ml (distilled water)
The flexible pump chamber of the device can be adjusted quickly and easily, and the liquid level remains high. This makes it easy to adjust the infusion rate.
The infusion device also has a 15 µm filter that protects against coarse particles. An orange-coloured roller clamp with a piercing pin holder ensures greater safety during disposal.
The Intrafix® Air P is pressure-resistant up to 2 bar and can therefore be used with infusion pumps designed for a tube size of 3 x 4.1 mm without any problems. The device is latex and DEHP-free, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
