Rivanol ointment in detail
Rivanol® Ointment is an effective antiseptic for reducing germs on the skin and is particularly suitable for treating wound infections. The active ingredient ethacridine lactate belongs to the group of acridine derivatives and offers a broad antibacterial effect by inhibiting the build-up of the bacterial wall and thus promoting the death of pathogens.
Product details:
- Indication: To reduce germs on the skin, especially in wound infections.
- Active ingredient: 2 mg ethacridine lactate-1-water.
- Excipients: α-(hexadecyl,octadecyl)-ω-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-x, purified water, white vaseline, isopropyl myristate, wheat starch, zinc oxide.
Application:
- Dosage: Apply the ointment thinly to the affected skin area 3 times a day to promote rapid healing and germ reduction.
- Duration: Do not use Rivanol® Ointment for longer than 7 days without medical advice.
