Sonnentor Quendel ground in detail
Thymian's wild brother. Quendel is nothing more than wild thyme and is used in the kitchen as such. The flavour is also strongly reminiscent of thyme. However, it is somewhat milder and has a hint of pine needles. Quendel goes well with light summer dishes, salads, fish, chicken and potatoes. Quendel should be added at the beginning of the cooking process so that it can develop its full flavour. Have the courage!
