Vagisan Moisturising Cream is a cream that has been specially developed to relieve burning, itching and pain caused by vaginal dryness. This hormone-free cream contains active ingredients such as sodium DL-lactate and octyldodecanol, which help to care for the vagina and keep it supple. The cream moisturises and is free from hormones and fragrances. It was developed by the Vagisan experts and can be used in conjunction with systemic hormone replacement therapy.
Vagisan Moisturising Cream has a creamy texture and contains a high water content as well as nourishing lipids. The cream provides the dry vagina with moisture and lipids to relieve the feeling of dryness, burning, itching and pain. It is adjusted to a pH value of 4.5 to support the natural acidity of the vagina.
Regular use of Vagisan Moisturising Cream can prevent irritation, inflammation and pain caused by vaginal dryness. The cream can be applied before sexual intercourse to reduce pain. It does not affect sperm motility and can therefore also be used if you wish to have children.
Vagisan Moisturising Cream is particularly suitable for women during or after the menopause, but can also be used for younger women with a dry vagina. A lack of oestrogen is often the cause of vaginal dryness, but hormonal fluctuations and stress can also play a role. The cream makes the sensitive skin in the intimate area pleasantly supple and can make sexual intercourse more comfortable for women who suffer from vaginal dryness.
