Weinmann MEDUtrigger MEDUMAT Standard² for patient circuit system in detail
In certain critical situations, it is essential to trigger the ventilator breaths individually and as required. This is particularly important in emergency medicine for life-saving measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation or induction of anaesthesia (RSI). The unique MEDUtrigger from Weinmann enables this precise control of ventilation even when using emergency ventilators such as the MEDUMAT EasyCPR, MEDUMAT Standard² and MEDUVENT Standard. The MEDUtrigger is attached directly to the ventilator mask and connected to the ventilator via an electrical connection.
The ventilation breaths are triggered simply by pressing a button on the MEDUtrigger. If you hold the button down for a longer period of time, two ventilation breaths are performed in succession, which is in line with current guidelines (30:2).
A remarkable feature of the MEDUtrigger is that the user can simultaneously seal the ventilation mask with the two-handed C-handle, which means that only one person is required to safely ventilate the patient. This leads to improved patient care due to reduced leakage.
