The Weinmann MEDUMAT Standard² ventilator without CO2 measurement on LIFE-BASE 3 NG is an emergency ventilator that is ready for use in any situation. In rescue operations, every second often counts and it is crucial that a ventilator works quickly and reliably. The MEDUMAT Standard² fulfils these requirements with various ventilation modes and therapy options for invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
Easy and intuitive operation of the device is particularly important in an emergency. For this reason, the MEDUMAT Standard² was developed in close collaboration with rescue service staff to ensure maximum user-friendliness. The ventilator also offers protection against contamination thanks to an integrated hygiene filter.
The advantages of ventilation with the MEDUMAT Standard² are manifold. It enables quick and easy adaptation of ventilation to body size or emergency mode for adults, children and infants. There are also special modes for the correct performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and for safe support during induction of anaesthesia. CPAP mode provides non-invasive respiratory therapy in the pre-hospital setting. Optionally, sidestream capnography, flow measurement and pressure-controlled ventilation modes can also be added.
The MEDUMAT Standard² comes with various accessories to enable comprehensive ventilation therapy. These include a reusable patient circuit, a rechargeable battery, a test bag, disposable CPAP/NIV masks, a ventilation mask and a hygiene filter. Also included is a carrying plate with charging interface as well as a protective bag and accessory bag.
