Ambroxol 75 retard Heumann in detail
Ambroxol 75 retard Heumann is a medicine that is used to loosen mucus in respiratory diseases with thick mucus.
Application:
- For the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs in which thick mucus obstructs the airways.
Active substances:
- Each delayed-release hard capsule contains 75 mg ambroxol hydrochloride.
Dosage:
- For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over, 1 prolonged-release capsule is usually taken once a day.
- If necessary, the dosage can be increased to twice daily to increase the effectiveness (a total of 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride per day).
Special instructions:
- Take unchewed after meals with sufficient liquid, e.g. a glass of water.
- If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4-5 days, medical advice should be sought.
