Artelac® Nighttime Gel in detail
Specially for overnight use
Artelac® Nighttime Gel is a good option for people with dry eyes who need extra moisturisation and protection for their eye surface at night. The gel contains medium-chain triglycerides that moisturise the cornea and conjunctiva and provide long-lasting protection. It can be used together with low-viscosity eye drops such as Artelac® Splash to achieve optimal results.
Recommended use:
- Wash hands thoroughly before use.
- Remove the protective cap from the tip of the tube.
- Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards with one finger.
- Hold the tube vertically over the eye with the dropper tip pointing downwards and squeeze gently to drop a drop of gel into the eye.
- Replace the protective cap on the tube after each application.
- Close the eye and move it slowly in all directions. Blink to spread the gel drop on the surface of the eye.
When using Artelac® Nighttime Gel with contact lenses, they must be removed and can be reinserted 15 minutes after application.
There may be a temporary clouding of vision after application, so it is recommended to use the product preferably overnight. If you use it during the day, wait until your vision is clear again before operating machinery or driving.
