Rudraksha means "tears of Shiva" in German.
Legend has it that the rudraksha trees grew in the exact places where Shiva's tears fell to the ground. High in the Himalayas, close to the sky, the Rudraksha trees have always been believed to have strong spiritual powers.
The seeds are said to have a calming effect on our nervous system. They absorb and amplify the energy of their bearer and surround them like a cocoon of their own energy.
