Cromo-Stulln® UD eye drops in detail
For the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis
Active ingredients
- 10 mg cromoglicic acid, disodium salt
Excipients
- Water for injection purposes
- hypromellose
Indication: Cromo-Stulln® UD eye drops are an anti-allergic agent for the relief of conjunctivitis caused by allergies. They reduce the symptoms of allergies such as itching and reddening of the eyes.
Dosage:
- For children and adults: instil one drop into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day.
- Use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.
Duration of use:
- Do not use for longer than necessary; the drops are suitable for prevention and should be continued after the symptoms have subsided as long as contact with allergens persists.
Method of application:
- Drop the contents of a one-dose container into the lower conjunctival sac. Avoid contact of the dropper opening with the eye or other surfaces.
Side effects:
- Occasional occurrence of eye burning, conjunctival swelling and foreign body sensation. If reactions persist or are severe, consult a doctor.
Interactions:
- Inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medication being used.
Contraindications:
- Do not use if allergic to sodium cromoglicate or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
- Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only on the advice of a doctor.
Patient information:
- For contact lens wearers: Remove lenses before instillation and do not reinsert for at least 15 minutes afterwards.
Roadworthiness and machine operation:
- Vision may be temporarily impaired after use. Wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
