Dräger breathing circuit system Infinity® ID in detail
Dräger's ID technology makes the work process much easier. RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) establishes a wireless connection between the breathing circuit system and the Dräger Infinity device. This allows data to be exchanged easily and continuously, sent immediately to the device and stored twice. The breathing circuit chip saves ventilation settings and alarm limits from the very first second. After switching to another Infinity device, the parameters are automatically transferred. This prevents operating errors caused by re-entering the values. The automatic compatibility check verifies whether the ventilation tube is approved for the connected device. This can also prevent potential damage to the patient or device. The coaxial tube system, in which the inspiratory tube runs in the lumen of the expiratory tube, allows space-saving work. In addition, the exhaled air optimally warms the gas flowing to the patient.
