The adult intubation trainer allows you to practice oral and nasal intubation on a non-anaesthetised patient. The model contains anatomical structures such as teeth, tongue, pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, lungs, oesophagus and stomach.
With this trainer, you have various exercise options:
- Oral, digital and nasal intubation
- Use of an endotracheal tube
- Insertion of an oesophageal obturator
- Use of a double lumen tube
- Insertion of a Combitube
- Practice suction and ventilation techniques
- Use of a cuff
- Realistic practice of the Sellick manoeuvre by applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage, which changes the position of the trachea and closes the oesophagus.
The trainer is mounted on a CPR torso and allows you to practise CPR and airway management. It has a manual carotid pulse. In addition, it is supplied with lubricant spray and disposable lower airways.
