Erler Zimmer Body in a box in detail
Port - "Body in a Box" is an inexpensive, compact, lightweight, quick to prepare and easy to store practice model for teaching and learning how to palpate and puncture implanted vascular access systems. The scope of delivery includes a real port, which can be used to practise access to differently placed systems: normal, tilted, travelling or deeply placed. Successful access is confirmed by the return flow of "blood" as the model has its own inbuilt 35cc blood reservoir. The model can be used inside or outside the box. It requires no preparation and can be used immediately. An excellent model for developing hand-eye coordination and building self-confidence, which is quickly transferred to the patient.
