Erler Zimmer dog ear, healthy/diseased in detail
This handy model shows you the healthy anatomy of the ear on one side. There you can see the cochlea, the ossicles, the auditory tube, the tympanic cavity, the middle ear, the eardrum, the vertical and horizontal part of the external auditory canal, the conchal cartilage, the ear muscle and the temporal muscle. On the opposite side you will find illustrations of inner ear structures with various diseases, such as an inflammatory exudate in the tympanic cavity, partially occluded ear canal due to cell hyperplasia and a reddened (inflamed) outer ear.
