Erler Zimmer ear examination simulator in detail
This simulator allows you to practise ear examinations. It consists of a head with six interchangeable ears made of elastic material. The ears have lifelike external and internal structures. Five of the six ears have embedded colour prints that enable the diagnosis of various pathological findings. The sixth ear without colour printing is used for practising earwax removal. The set is supplied with two tubes of artificial earwax, nine 35 mm slides (five findings as listed below and four findings from a supplementary set) and a carrying case. Please note that an otoscope is not included. You can examine the following normal conditions and pathological findings:
- Normal eardrum
- Mucous otitis media
- Serous otitis media with fluid accumulation
- Chronic otitis media with perforation
- Normal eardrum with oblique ear canal
The size of the simulator is 38 x 38 x 26 cm and the weight is 7.7 kg.
