Erler Zimmer placental circulation in detail
The "placental circulation" product is a detailed, life-size model that depicts all the important structures of the placenta in realistic colours. The cotyledons on the surface of the mother's placenta and the amniotic and chorionic membranes on the surface of the foetus are accurately reproduced. The vessels of the umbilical cord are visible through the umbilical cord membrane. A section into the placenta reveals further structures such as the tissue under the villous membrane, villi with arteries and veins, decidua septa, small spiral arteries and marginal sinuses. You will also receive a flashcard in English for further study.
