Erler Zimmer training arm for intravenous injections in detail
The training arm model for intravenous injections offers you the opportunity to practise the technique of intravenous injections. It is made of soft plastic and has an exchangeable skin as well as an exchangeable injection field in the crook of the elbow, which simulates the median cubital vein (V. mediana cubiti) through a tube. The vein is visible under the skin and can be easily felt. The model mimics the tension of the skin and the nature of the congested vein almost realistically. Particularly noteworthy is the possibility of realistically congesting the vein and simulating a rolling vein by applying lubricant. The model has been tested in demanding daily use by the German Armed Forces. All individual parts can be purchased separately.
