AP series in detail
The AP-2 binocular stereo microscope has a straight-tube head with 20x magnification and 10W incidence illumination. It contains a pair of secured WF10x/20mm wide-angle eyepieces with eyecups, a binocular head with straight tubes and dioptre compensation on one tube. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 55 and 75 mm. With an interchangeable paired objective of 2x, a working distance of 80 mm, a 20x magnification and a field of view of 10 mm. It has a flat column stand with rack and pinion focussing with clutch mechanism, comes with a black/white object plate and 2 object clamps and has a 10W and 12V incidence illumination. The microscope has a special antibacterial protective coating and is supplied with dust protection in a polystyrene case.
The AP-8-LED binocular stereo microscope includes a 45° tilted tube head, 2x/4x interchangeable objective, 20x/40x magnification and incidence and transmitted LED cable illumination. It includes a pair of secured WF10x/20mm wide-angle eyepieces with eyecups, a binocular head with 45° tilted tubes and dioptre compensation on one tube. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 55 and 75 mm. With a 2x/4x interchangeable objective, a 20x/40x magnification, a field of view of 10 mm and 5 mm and a working distance of 52 mm. It has a column stand with rack and pinion focussing with clutch mechanism, comes with a black/white object plate, a transparent plate and 2 object clamps and has incidence and transmitted light LED illumination with 3 rechargeable AA batteries with up to 35 hours operating time. It is supplied with main adapter and has a special antibacterial protective coating and dust protection in a polystyrene case.
