Gingium 40 mg contains an extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves and is used to treat brain-induced mental performance impairments, to extend the pain-free walking distance in cases of arterial occlusive disease and dizziness, and as a supportive treatment for ringing in the ears. The ginkgo extract supports blood circulation and can help to alleviate symptoms such as memory impairment, concentration problems and dizziness.
Ingredients
- Active ingredient: Ginkgo biloba leaf dry extract (40 mg per film-coated tablet)
- Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, glucose syrup, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, magnesium stearate (vegetable), maize starch, hypromellose, carboxymethyl starch sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, iron(III) hydroxide oxide x H2O
Directions for use
- Dosage: Adults take 1-2 film-coated tablets 2 to 3 times daily, corresponding to 120-240 mg ginkgo extract per day.
- Method of administration: Take film-coated tablets unchewed with sufficient liquid, preferably with drinking water. They can be taken independently of meals.
- Duration of treatment: At least 8 weeks for organic brain disorders, at least 6 weeks for arterial occlusive disease, up to 12 weeks for dizziness and ringing in the ears.
