Isla Cassis throat lozenges provide soothing relief for hoarseness, sore throats and coughs. They soothe the irritated mucous membrane in the throat and pharynx and contribute to faster recovery. Particularly helpful for complaints caused by dry air, heavy strain on the vocal cords or restricted nasal breathing. The pastilles act like a protective balm and offer long-lasting protection for the sensitive mucous membrane.
Active ingredients:
- 80 mg Iceland moss extract (0.4-0.8:1)
- Extractant: Water
Excipients:
- Blackcurrant flavour
- maltitol
- Paraffin, low viscosity
- Ascorbic acid
- Purified water
- Blackcurrant fruit extract
- Citric acid
- Acesulfame potassium
- Sorbitol
- Arabic gum
Application:
Suck 1-2 lozenges several times a day as required. Can also be used over a longer period of time.
Indications:
- Relief from irritating coughs and hoarseness
- Calming of the vocal cords in case of heavy strain (e.g. for singers or speakers)
- Support for complaints caused by dry air or dry mouth
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Side effects:
Very rarely a laxative effect may occur due to the sugar substitutes sorbitol and maltitol.
Special notes:
In case of intolerance to certain sugars, the preparation should only be taken after consulting a doctor. There are no known risks for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
