Leukomed® 8 cm x 10 cm sterile in detail
Leukomed® is a sterile wound dressing that provides reliable coverage for surgical wounds and accident injuries of all kinds. It is suitable for use after surgical procedures as well as for abrasions and cuts following accidents.
The dressing is made of a cross-elastic polyester fleece that adapts well to highly contoured areas of the body. The wound pad made of absorbent viscose fleece is coated with polypropylene to prevent it from sticking to the wound and to enable painless dressing changes. At the same time, the dressing is permeable to air and water vapour to reduce the risk of skin maceration.
The rounded corners of the dressing prevent unwanted rolling and ensure secure fixation. Despite its good adhesive strength, the bandage can be removed without leaving any residue.
Leukomed® can be used for short periods of up to several days. The dimensions of the bandage are 8 cm x 10 cm.
