The information provided here is based primarily on side effects that occur in at least one in 1,000 patients treated.
- This medicine contains substances that may be classified as doping substances. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about this.
- Caution in case of corticoid allergy (e.g. cortisone)!
- Be careful if you are allergic to binding agents (e.g. carboxymethylcellulose with the E number E 466)!
- Preservatives (e.g. benzalkonium chloride) can cause swelling of the nasal mucosa with prolonged use. If such a reaction is suspected (persistent nasal congestion), a medicine for use in the nose without preservatives should be used.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already using before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient is a related substance to cortisone. Cortisone is a hormone that is also produced by the body itself.
The active ingredient is mainly used to reduce chronic inflammatory reactions in the body, for example in the respiratory tract or digestive tract. The active ingredient inhibits the body's own processes that continually promote inflammation in the body. In the case of chronic illnesses, the inflammation can take on a life of its own and lead to far-reaching symptoms due to swelling of the affected skin or mucous membranes.
The substance only works optimally if it is used regularly.
