Utipro acute & protect is a product for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other Gram-negative bacteria that are normally involved in the development of urological infections. coli and other gram-negative bacteria that are normally involved in the development of urological infections.
The active ingredients xyloglucan and gelose in Utipro acute & protect act physically in the intestine by preventing the pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa. This is the first step in preventing the multiplication of pathogens and subsequent transmission to the urinary tract.
Utipro acute & protect is taken orally from the onset of the first symptoms of urinary tract infections to reduce the multiplication of pathogens that can lead to infection. Utipro acute & protect is also recommended to prevent relapses in the case of recurrent urinary tract infections where the proliferation of pathogens leads to new infections.
The dosage of Utipro acute & protect depends on the symptoms:
- At the first symptoms of urinary tract symptoms, 2 capsules per day should be taken for 5 days (1 capsule every 12 hours).
- To prevent relapses, 1 capsule should be taken daily for at least 15 consecutive days. The intake cycle can then be repeated.
