The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas.
Or: Inhale the medicine by pouring hot water over the intended amount of medicine. Bend your head over the container, inhale the vapours through your nose and mouth and, if possible, cover your head and the container with a cloth. Caution hot! - The product should only be used if it is safe to handle.
Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3-5 days without medical advice. If symptoms persist for longer, you should consult your doctor.
Overdosage?
If the medicine is used as described, no overdose symptoms are known. In case of accidental ingestion, consult a doctor immediately.
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. As the doctor will personalise it, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
The medicine must be stored away from heat.what are the reasons for not using it?
Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Bronchial asthma
- Bronchial tubes that are hypersensitive, e.g. to various substances, cold, etc.
- Damaged skin (e.g. burns, injuries, skin and paediatric diseases with rashes)
Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Pneumonia
Which age group should be considered?
- Infants and young children under 2 years of age: The medicine must not be used.
- Children under 6 years of age: In this age group, the medicine should only be used for certain indications. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about this.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: Consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine should not be applied to the breast.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk of using the product if there is a contraindication.
- Hypersensitivity reactions of the skin
- Contact dermatitis (allergic skin reactions that only occur with repeated use)
- Coughing irritation

- Menthol/Camphor/Cineol: Do not use on or in the immediate vicinity of the respiratory organs in children under 2 years of age; risk of laryngeal spasm. Hypersensitivity reactions (including respiratory distress) may be triggered in sensitised patients.
How do the ingredients of the medicinal product work?
The ingredients come from several plants and act as a natural mixture. All four ingredients increase blood circulation and loosen mucus in the area of application. Eucalyptus oil also stimulates the fine hairs of the upper respiratory tract to move more quickly. This allows stuck mucus to be removed more effectively and makes it easier to cough up. It also reduces coughing spasms.
