Cleartest® Anti-Tissue-Transglutaminase IgA in detail
The Cleartest® Anti-Tissue-Transglutaminase IgA Rapid Test is an immunological test that specifically detects tissue transglutaminase IgA antibodies in citrated blood, serum and capillary blood from the fingertip. This test is an important tool in the diagnosis of coeliac disease, also known as sprue, a chronic intestinal disease caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to gluten.
Product features:
- Reliable diagnostic support: Detects tissue transglutaminase antibodies IgA, which can be used for suspected coeliac disease or for monitoring progression.
- Professional use: Developed for medically trained personnel for use in in-vitro diagnostics.
- Fast results: Displays results in as little as 10 minutes, enabling prompt diagnosis.
- Versatile sample types: Can be performed with citrated blood, serum and capillary blood from the fingertip, increasing flexibility and ease of use.
The test utilises a specific monoclonal antibody fixed to a membrane with gold labelling to detect tissue transglutaminase antibody IgA. The sensitivity of the test is 98.00 % and the specificity is 96.67 %, which emphasises its accuracy in determining the diagnosis.
Note on storage: The test should be stored at temperatures between 2-30°C in a sealed pouch to ensure optimal results. Freezing should be avoided in order not to impair functionality.
