With the CoaguChek PST test strips for determining the prothrombin time (PT), self-testing can be carried out easily and safely. The test strip pack contains, among other things, a code chip with batch-specific information on the strips and their expiry date. The code chip must be inserted into the device before the test strip is inserted. The blood sample can then be applied to the designated area on the test strip and the clotting time is measured. The measurement result is then automatically saved on the device.
Note: Please be careful when disposing of the outer packaging to avoid accidentally throwing away the code chip.
