Product description

Erler Zimmer Chester Chest with extended arm in detail

Chester Chest is a lifelike model that allows you to practice using the most common long-term vascular access systems such as implanted ports, central venous catheters (CVC) and peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC). The model is easy to use and portable as all systems are integrated into one compact device. These are practical models that are used in real practice and not unrealistic imitations.

Chester Chest offers an impressively realistic tactile sensation when palpating a port. This is achieved through a unique material that mimics human tissue. To increase the level of difficulty, implants are included that make access difficult, such as a deeply placed port, a tilted or tilted port and a wandering or slipping port.

The model has openings through which external jugular and subclavian catheters can be inserted. Chester Chest can be used both upright and supine. It is a complete unit that includes a life-size torso with neck and chin, a detachable right arm, an external tissue piece, three difficult access inserts, an implanted port, a CVC, a PICC, openings for insertion of a subclavian or jugular external catheter, a "blood" reservoir bag, tubing, baby powder and instructions for use.
