Erler Zimmer Human brain in frontal sections in detail

The model of the human brain in frontal sections allows you to study brain structures in an innovative way. Due to the three-dimensional nature of the adult brain, the neuronal structures vary depending on the sectional plane. Modern diagnostic procedures allow different views of these structures in the same patient. Neurological anatomical markers are often used to confirm suspected diagnoses. Therefore, it is important that medical students are able to analyse neurological structures from different angles.

However, until now there were no suitable models of the human brain in frontal slices. We are therefore delighted to present this new model, which was developed in collaboration with Dr Cara Davis. Discreetly incorporated magnets and matching surface structures allow the parts to be easily assembled and stably connected.
