Product details & mandatory information
Erler Zimmer front horse leg with shoulder blade, movable on stand in detail
We have assembled the shoulder blade, humerus, forearm bone (fused ulna and radius), cannon bone and horse foot into a model for you. The foot consists of the pastern bone (os compedale), the coronet bone (os coronale) and the coffin bone (os ungulare). Normally the coffin bone is enclosed by the hoof, but this is not present in the model. The horse is a toe walker. This means that it walks on only one finger (the horse's foot is actually only one finger). The equivalent of the wrist or ankle is high above the ground. These adaptations allow the horse to reach high running speeds. The height of the model is 154 cm.
