Oxion Inverso with phase contrast in detail

The Oxion Inverso inverted microscopes for fluorescence are ideal for observing living organisms and tissue cultures in cell culture dishes and flasks. The fluorescence models are available with brightfield and phase contrast. The special objectives are suitable for 1.2 mm thick glass bottoms of cell culture dishes and flasks.

Specifications:

  • Eyepieces: Pair of HWF Plan 10x/22 mm eyepieces
  • Head: Trinocular head with 45° inclined tubes and expandable positions for eyepieces. One dioptre adjustment on the left eyepiece.
  • Revolving nosepiece: Relevant 5x nosepiece on ball bearings
  • Objectives for brightfield and fluorescence microscopy: Infinity colour correction long working distance Plan-Fluarex 10x/0.30, 20x/0.45, 40x/0.65 IOS objectives. A Plan-Fluarex 60x/0.75 IOS objective is also available as an option
  • Objectives for phase contrast and fluorescence microscopy: Infinity colour correction long working distance Plan-Fluarex 10x/0.30 and Plan-phase Fluarex 20x/0.45 and S40x/0.65 IOS objectives. All objectives corrected for 1.2 mm thickness.
  • ICSI set for intracytoplasmic sperm injection with two 3D hydraulic joysticks is available for the Oxion Inverso fluorescence microscope
  • Stand: 250 x 230 mm stage with coaxial mechanical 120 x 78 mm X-Y stage, optionally with universal cell culture holder
  • Condenser: N.A. 0.30 condenser with iris diaphragm. Working distance 72 mm
  • Focussing: Coaxial 25 mm coarse and fine adjustment with 2 µm precision and friction adjustment
  • Illumination: transmitted light 5 W LED and 100 W mercury vapour fluorescence illumination, 100-240 V power supply. The fluorescence models are equipped with a reflected 100 W HBO mercury vapour light source.
