Pure vegan OPC grape seed extract capsules provide a natural source of oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC), one of the most powerful plant antioxidants known. This valuable plant substance is extracted from the seeds of French grapes (Vitis vinifera). OPC belongs to the group of flavanols, which are found in various plants such as green tea, blueberries, strawberries, apples, pine bark, bananas and the red peanut shell.
Production and extraction
OPCs are obtained by gentle cold water extraction at around 80° Celsius, without the use of organic or artificial solvents. Polyphenol enrichment is carried out by membrane filtration with a solution of 70% water and 30% ethanol in order to preserve the active properties of the grape seed extract.
