Littmann CORE digital stethoscope in detail
This high-tech stethoscope sets new standards. Its up to 40-fold acoustic amplification leaves nothing to be desired, even for doctors who are hard of hearing. Technologies such as Ambient Noise Reduction reliably reduce background noise and rubbing noises. It is the successor to the Littmann 3200 model.
The brand new Littmann CORE digital stethoscope combines the advantages of a classic Littmann stethoscope with the most advanced digital auscultation technology to date!
The Littmann CORE is equipped with active noise cancellation, which reduces disturbing background noise to a minimum. In combination with up to 40-fold amplification, you can hear even the quietest body sounds clearly and distinctly even in noisy environments.
The auscultation can be transmitted in real time via Bluetooth to a compatible Android or iOS device with the Eko app installed and visualised there. The examination can also be saved, annotated and shared with a colleague.
The Littmann CORE digital stethoscope has a double-headed chest piece with a large membrane for adults and a small membrane for paediatrics. Both diaphragms can be used for auscultation of body sounds in different frequency ranges by changing the contact pressure. This makes the Littmann CORE suitable for auscultation of the heart, lungs, intestines and blood vessels in adults and children.
A switch on the Eko amplifier allows you to switch between amplified listening mode and classic analogue mode with just one hand movement. The volume in amplifier mode can be individually adjusted in 7 levels.
Thanks to new technology, an auscultation of 20-1000 Hz is easily possible; in comparison, conventional stethoscopes offer frequency ranges between 100-500 Hz. The small sensor measuring just 1.5 cm also allows you to auscultate babies or carotids.
