Shiley™ PLCF tracheostomy tubes for children in detail
The special, extra-long Shiley™ tracheostomy tubes for children have a unique conical cuff that controls ventilator leakage and improves the vertical seal at a safe internal cuff pressure. They are DEHP-free and have a soft, clear neck flange. This allows a better view of the underlying skin and the stoma site. The TaperGuard™ cuff reduces the removal force by 58.3 % compared to conventional high-volume low-pressure cuffs. This reduces the risk of stoma irritation during removal.
