The Teleflex Minilap System for percutaneous surgery was specifically developed to make minimally invasive procedures even gentler. By using the integrated needle tip, the surgeon can insert the instrument percutaneously through the skin with a shaft diameter of 2.4 mm. The main aim is to reduce incision size and tissue trauma without sacrificing proven surgical techniques.

The 2.4 mm shaft allows direct insertion through the skin and leaves an inconspicuous scar.
The integrated needle tip enables percutaneous insertion without the use of a trocar.
The calculated defect volume is 12 times smaller compared to an average 5 mm trocar.
