ZOLL Stat-Padz II multifunction electrodes in detail
The colour LCD display of a ZOLL defibrillator shows clear graphics that match the adhesive pads to help laypersons place the electrodes correctly in adults.
Inadequate compression rate and depth are common during resuscitation. Adult patients require 100 to 120 compressions per minute and a compression depth of 5 to 6 cm. Chest compressions must be performed well to effectively transport oxygenated blood to the heart and brain.
Thanks to these modern electrodes (pads), the ZOLL devices can evaluate the resuscitation quality and thus provide real-time verbal and visual feedback to guide the first aider in the best possible way during resuscitation. It says: "Push deeper" if the depth of pressure is insufficient and also says "Cardiac massage good" if the resuscitation quality is sufficient.
