B. Braun Dafilon® for microsurgery and ophthalmic surgery in detail
The black Dafilon® suture material is ideal for microsurgery and ophthalmic surgery. Dafilon® is made of polyamide 6, is non-absorbable and has no coating. The thread structure is monofilament. Like all nylon suture materials - although it is non-absorbable - progressive hydrolysis can result in a gradual loss of tensile strength.
Dafilon® is available in the colours blue, undyed and black. You can find all the different versions and sizes in our online shop!
