Berk Inner Calm in detail
Our incense consists of the healing powers of St John's wort, lavender and mallow. These three plants are known to calm our mood, soothe us in stressful times and strengthen our nerves. St John's Wort also has the ability to dispel dark clouds both in the atmosphere and in our mood. Lavender brings back lightness and serenity and mallow creates a protective space.
The size of the incense is 20 cm. In Germanic culture, bundles of incense have always been made and burnt on certain occasions. Whether during the Rauhnächte, the annual festivals or on special occasions - local incense was always used to purify the atmosphere, to ask the gods for favour or to drive away illness. We have revived this ancient knowledge of the healing properties of lovingly cultivated plants in collaboration with a farm in south-east Europe. All plants are carefully cultivated there under controlled organic conditions, harvested by hand, dried and bundled into incense.
