Erler Zimmer Neonatal Ultrasound Practice Phantom Head in Detail
The head ultrasound model allows you to practice one of the most challenging skills in ultrasound - head sonography. Since learners have few opportunities to practice hands-on, this model provides an accurate representation of the cerebral anatomy of a newborn as well as a realistic practice experience due to its lifelike soft surface.
This model allows you to examine the brain anatomy in different planes - sagittal (parasagittal), coronal and transverse - through each fontanel. The anatomy includes the skull, anterior and posterior fontanel, brain, cerebellum, brain stem, lateral ventricles, ventricle, third cerebral ventricle, fourth ventricle and septum pellucidum.
The size of the model is 13 x 13 x 17 cm, making it handy and easy to handle.
