Erler Zimmer neonatal ultrasound training phantom head with hydrocephalus in detail
This phantom has been developed to demonstrate abnormal anatomy. An example of this is hydrocephalus, where the skull changes shape due to intercranial pressure.
You have the opportunity to examine the brain anatomy in different planes (sagittal (parasagittal), coronal and transverse) through each fontanel.
The phantom includes the following anatomical structures:
- Skull
- Anterior fontanel
- Posterior fontanel
- Hypertrophied lateral ventricle
The size of the phantom is 13 x 14 x 20 cm.
