Erler Zimmer torso, sexless, 12 parts in detail
The life-size torso, consisting of 12 parts, is perfectly designed for teaching. It provides a detailed representation of the anatomy and is particularly helpful for understanding the muscles, glands, vessels and nerves in the neck area. The thorax and abdomen are also opened up to provide a view of the important structures.
In the included Torso Guide, all structures are numbered and described to facilitate identification and learning. The torso is easy to handle and the individual parts can be removed effortlessly. These include the two-part head with brain and upper respiratory tract, one half of the brain with structures and vessels, right and left lungs with bronchial tree and vessels, heart, liver with gall bladder, stomach, pancreas with spleen and vessels and small intestine with removable appendix valve.
The torso is supplied on a sturdy base board and measures 90 x 33 x 23 cm. With a weight of approx. 9.3 kg, it is robust and durable. The ideal companion for anatomy lessons.
