Erler Zimmer ultrasound-guided breast biopsy phantom (set with a basic and an extended version) in detail
We present our new training model for ultrasound-guided breast biopsy. This model gives you the opportunity to practise fine needle aspiration biopsy, punch biopsy and mammotome biopsy under ultrasound guidance. The tissue of the breast phantom is adapted to the softness and resistance of the human breast. You can rely on excellent image quality. To confirm the success of the biopsy, the targets are coloured. In addition, the targets are distributed over three levels to train puncturing at different depths and angles.
Our phantom is available in two versions. The basic version is transparent and contains 12 hyperechogenic targets in the sizes 6 mm and 10 mm, which are marked in blue. The extended version is opaque and also contains 12 targets, including 6 hyperechogenic (blue) and 6 hypoechogenic (red) targets, in the sizes 6 mm and 10 mm.
The Phantom has a size of 136 mm in diameter and 70 mm in height. It weighs 0.7 kg. You will receive a set consisting of a basic and an extended version.
