Vomex A Coated Tablets contain the active ingredient dimenhydrinate and are used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting of various causes, especially travel sickness. The medication belongs to the group of H1 antihistamines and has a central depressant effect, reducing nausea and dizziness.
Ingredients
- Active ingredient: Dimenhydrinate (50 mg per tablet)
- Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, Arabic gum, hyprolose, talc, sucrose, macrogol 6000, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, iron(III) hydroxide oxide x H2O, iron(III) oxide, carminic acid aluminium salts, carnauba wax, beeswax
Directions for use
- Dosage for children from 6 to 14 years: 1-3 times daily 1 coated tablet (corresponding to 50-150 mg dimenhydrinate).
- Dosage for adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: 1-4 times daily 1-2 coated tablets (corresponding to 50-400 mg dimenhydrinate), maximum 8 coated tablets per day (400 mg dimenhydrinate).
- Route of administration: Dragees to be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid, preferably 30 minutes to one hour before travelling.
