Immobilisation tape
Areas of application:
The immobilisation tape can be used to immobilise parts of the body, to secure bandages and for compression.
Properties:
The immobilisation band is longitudinally elastic and stretches by approximately 100 %. It is permeable to air, has a good grip and can be applied without creasing. It provides reliable fixation both on conical parts of the body and around the joints. The tape has woven edges and is white in colour. It measures 6 cm x 4 m.
Product composition:
The immobilisation band is made of 56% viscose and 44% polyamide.
Notes:
The tape can be sterilised with steam (at 134° C).
Recommended combinations:
The immobilisation tape is particularly suitable for fixing plaster and cast splints, such as Cellacast Longuette.
