How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient is a related substance to cortisone. Cortisone is a hormone that is also produced by the body itself.
When injuries occur, the body's own defenses run at full speed, a number of messenger substances and immune cells flow to the site of the injury and destroy invading pathogens and cell debris or blood clots caused by the injury. This work leads to inflammation in the affected area and the associated swelling, redness and ultimately pain. The active ingredient curbs the body's own defense mechanisms, especially if they are exaggerated, as is the case with allergies. It has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin in particular and eliminates itching, redness, swelling and pustules.
