Stryphnasal® N nasal sticks in detail
For the treatment of nosebleeds
Application
First remove a Stryphnasal® N nasal stick from the plastic film. Sit down (do not lie down!) and carefully insert the tip of the pen into the bleeding nostril first. Then hold a handkerchief or cotton wool underneath and press the stick gently into the nose. Once the bleeding has stopped, you can easily remove the unmelted part. If the stick is left in the nose for longer, it will melt completely.
Ingredients
- Tannin
- Bismuth gallate, basic
Ingredients
Hard grease
Stryphnasal® N nasal sticks are used to mechanically stop nosebleeds. The nasal stick should remain in the nose for at least 10 to 15 minutes. The mechanical pressure of the pin compresses the burst blood vessel and stops the bleeding.
The hard fat contained in the nasal pins melts at body temperature. This slightly lubricates and softens the nasal mucosa. When the remaining stick is removed, the wound closure is protected and the wound does not start bleeding again.
Composition
1 stick of 1.0 g contains: Hard fat, basic bismuth gallate, tannin.
Advantages
- Easy to use by inserting into the bleeding nostril
