Stülpa® Ready-made bandage size 1 is a seamless knitted tubular bandage that is versatile and can be used universally.
Properties:
- The tubular bandage is seamlessly knitted and has high transverse stretchability.
- It is easy to apply and can be applied without tools.
- It can be cut at any point without creating running stitches.
- The bandage fits without creases and remains securely in place even under mechanical stress thanks to the closed surface.
- Wounds or sensitive areas of skin are reliably protected.
- The dressing is absorbent, air-permeable and can be sterilised (steam A 134 °C).
- It is available both on rolls and as a ready-made dressing.
- Made from 70 % viscose and 30 % cotton.
Application:
The Stülpa® ready-made bandage size 1 is suitable for all types of fixation bandages, immobilising bandages (after Desault) and extension bandages. It can also be used as an undercoat and overcoat for zinc paste or plaster/cast dressings and is used to cover splints.
The tubular bandage is particularly useful as skin protection under compression bandages.
