Dräger ClassicStar® NIV mask in detail
The Dräger ClassicStar® enables you to optimise NIV treatment for patients with acute respiratory diseases. It covers the mouth and nose so that therapy is effective even with pure mouth breathing. Optimum patient comfort even with maximum sealing is ensured thanks to the customisable mask cushion. The 6-point headgear secures the mask firmly to the patient's head and prevents pressure points. The 360-degree swivelling angle guarantees more flexibility and freedom of movement. Each mask delivery includes a size template and a pump ball for inflating the mask cushions.Choose from the two different angled masks, which can be easily distinguished from each other thanks to the clear colour coding:
- Standard angled mask: without anti-asphyxia valve and without exhalation openings, blue colour coding
- Anti-asphyxia valve: ensures access to room air at low pressures (< 3cm H2O); exhalation openings support CO2 elimination during non-invasive ventilation; white transparent colour coding(available in sizes Small, Medium and Large)
