Infusomat® plus SafeSet, UV Protect line in detail
The light-protected Infusomat® plus lines are compatible with the B. Braun Infusomat® compact plus infusion pump and are suitable for the use of different solutions in infusion therapy. All variants are PVC- & DEHP-free and have coloured coding on the connectors of the pump segment, which prevents possible operating errors.Light-protected infusion therapy
B. Braun has developed a special product range for the use of light-sensitive drugs, which enables safer, light-protected infusion therapy thanks to the orange-transparent light protection products.
Fully light-protected products enable increased safety
- Light protection in the relevant wavelength spectrum (290-520 nm)
- Orange-transparent design enables quick detection of air bubbles and particles
A filter membrane ≤ 15 μm protects against coarse particles, acts as a barrier and prevents air from entering the connection line.
PRIMESTOP PROTECTIVE CAP at the end of the line
A hydrophobic, bacteria-proof membrane prevents liquid from escaping.
